Statement

Noble has been successful by maintaining a conservative financial policy, positioning itself to adapt to the ever changing world energy market and meeting customers' needs and demands. At the same time, the Company has assimilated an experienced and well trained work force. Lloyd Noble set the tone for the Company's employee-oriented attitude in A Legacy for Management when he said "It has been my further belief that it was the duty of the management, and to that end my mind has been constantly surcharged, to so build the organization that when men evidenced capabilities to give them a part of my work and find other tasks to do which might result in increased benefits to the organization, or step aside; and, on the other hand, should death intervene, to have matters so arranged that I would be missed personally, while the machinery continued to function smoothly."

	The Noble Corporation
History
On the basis of Noble Corporation is Samedan Oil Corporation. This exploration company of crude oil and natural gas, founded in 1921 by Lloyd Noble in Ardmore, Oklahoma. It is the parent company of Noble Affiliates Inc., Founded in 1932. In the seventies of the last century, the holding company Noble Affiliates Inc., owned three subsidiaries: Samedan Oil Corporation, the drilling company Noble Drilling Corporation, and the shipping Walker BF. In 2000, after the transport company had already been sold, the name was changed to Noble Corporation. In March 2009, the Noble Corporation settled down in Switzerland.
The Noble Corporation now
The Noble Corporation owns, after the purchase of Frontier Drilling in 2010, a fleet of 62 offshore (offshore) drilling units distributed worldwide, the Middle East, India, the U.S. Gulf of Mexico, Mexico, the Mediterranean, North Sea, Brazil, West Africa and the Asia Pacific. (There is also a number of drilling units under construction. Noble also owns and operates a dynamically positioned floating production, storage, offloading vessel. It is one of the largest offshore drilling contractors in the world.
